As far as blue language, my mom was very clear, I wasn't allowed to use it until I turned 18. After 18, I was permitted...but she still glared at me. I still remember my utter shock the first time I heard her mother use any less than pristine language..I was completely shocked (it was also part of the onset of her Alzheimer's, I now believe).

OTOH, my filters regarding appropriate language over meals is less than perfect. The result of too many years hearing my mom talk about her emergency room cases over supper.

I like your pod cast. Why? It's informative and short and no music. If I wanted to listen to music I would turn on the radio. I want to listen to knitting talk. Thank you and best of luck.

Hi,

Just a note to tell you how much I enjoy your funny, earthy, take on knitting and life in general. I was raised around sailors, so I hear you on the "was that offense?" tone-deafness to blue language. Your episode on the coveralls made me laugh out loud. And the story of your first sweater made me want to build a time machine and go back and set your younger self up with some Debbie Bliss cashmerino or other lux yarn.

Anywho, keep up the good work! I look forward to your next episode.
