I had to laugh out loud. I could see myself standing there in the lobby and being told my parents had left me! Oh my! What happened?

Wow. My parents once forgot me at daycare (I was about 4 or 5), as each thought that the other one had picked me up. They didn’t learn the error of their ways until they got home & no daughter. Luckily, the owner knew them and just took me home with her until they came to get me.
They never just moved and didn’t tell me. That’s got to be worth a fortune in guilt-tripping.
