KnitWit 49: Why tell stories? Part 3

Filed under: podcast — Autumn Breeze at 2:10 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2006

I’ve missed you and am glad you’re back.

I have been dying wool. I use Louet’s gaywool, an acid dye for dying. The super-wash takes the dye differently. Not exactly what I was aiming for. What do you think?

I tell a story about a potter, I meet at the NC State Fair, Senora Lynch. She did some amazing work with children.

If you wish to contact Senora, please contact me. I will pass any messages on to her.

That wool is going to make some beautiful yarn! I have yet to explore the world of dyeing but I really admire the efforts of everyone else.

Hi Carry,
thank you for another podcast. I really enjoyed it. I am also a big fan of Terry Pratchett. I have borrowed “Thief of Time” as book on tape several times from the library. It is very well done. I get such a chuckle out of Susan and her GRANDFATHER.

Carry,

That is some beautiful roving you’ve dyed! I’d love to get some on my wheel. I’ll be sure to check out episode 49 ASAP. I just love your podcast. I can listen to one on my way to work, and one on the way home, which helps me to put a bit of fun into my day. Keep up the good work!
