Carry - Thanks so much for the information about cotton. It was very helpful to me. The other thing I noticed about cotton sweaters is that they fade very quickly after being washed a couple of times. I will take your advice about smaller gauge and finer yarns.

What a fabulous idea to start a fiber series!!! I loved hearing about the history of cotton. It can make such great fabric, though I never liked knitting with it much. Crochet, on the other hand, is a craft I'm just discovering and cotton appears to agree with that craft more than to knitting. Thanks for another great episode. Jenneke

Carry, what a great idea to do a fiber series! When I first saw the title, Cotton's story, I wondered if it was about a rabbit. Your information was great and really interesting. You always do a good job with your podcast.

Hi Carry,

I love the new fibre strand idea and I really enjoyed learning more about cotton and how to spin it.
I'm really looking forward to future episodes on other fibres.
