I haven't listened to this episode yet, but from a comment above, it puts me in mind of the time I acted completely without thought and patted the tummy of my violin tutor - I thought she was pregnant. But WTF did I do that in the first place? Even if she had been pregnant, I didn't know her well enough, not nearly well enough. And what was even worse? It was at the start of the lesson, so we both had to endure the very embarrassing half hout that followed.

I was at the festival this weekend, working at the fleece show & sale. I didn't get out much so I never saw your flower (or the you attached to it) or I would have said hello. :(

Carry,
I just felt I should let you know how much I've grown to love your podcast with all of your stories. I just started listening to podcasts not too long ago and have been on the look-out for knitting or fiber podcasts in general. I figured with the little free time I have, I wanted to listen to people talk about fiber and fiber only. You have proven that wrong. I adore listening to your stories. Just today my 5-year-old son and I had to wait to pick up my 3-year-old daughter so we listened to your belly rub story. We both loved it!!! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. I wish I could come to Maryland next week, my blog is the giving flower so you could bet I'd be wearing a flower, but living in Germany makes that kind of tough. I can't wait to hear your stories about it though.
Oh and I just love to learn about fiber so I felt your cotton podcast was much too short. ;-) I loved it!

Although I knew what was coming (at the bookstore), I still erupted with laughter. It's the way you tell a story. Sadly, I won't be going to Maryland this year, although I would love to meet you and tell you in person how much you brighten my Saturdays with your podcast. Have a great time!
