Carry, I really enjoy your podcasts, but especially the ones about specific materials. This was a good one, especially your observations about how “green” these fibers are.

I totally agree with you about “no sheep” yarns. It was only yesterday that they were touting wool as a renewable source - unlike, say, leather - and how wonderfull it is. Now they don’t like it beacause they say it is cruel to shear animals. Gimmie a break! It’s cruel not to.

Anyway, thanks for the dissertation on rayon. It was fasinating.

Loved this episode! I didn’t know about the chemical baths with rayon and it definitely makes me look at it differently!

Loving the informational episodes where I learn something!
