KnitWit 105: Differences in Wool

Filed under: podcast — Autumn Breeze at 2:26 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2008

This is the last show on wool. I talk about different classification and quality of wool. There are many different factors to consider if you are thinking about getting some sheep. For more details, check out Nola Fournier’s book, In Sheep’s Clothing: A Handspinner’s Guide to Wool.

I have not decided on what will be the next fiber animal I am going to talk about. If you have a suggestion, drop me a line.

I enjoyed your podcast. I had no idea how varied wool qualities are. Very interesting to learn more about the fibre I use and love. Since you ask, how about alpaca for your next fibre topic?
