A few years ago, when I was first diagnosed with chronic migraines, in the struggle to find a medication to help me, one of the prescriptions I was given made my hair fall out in clumps.

As a large woman with low self-esteem, my hair was very long and thick and pretty much the only thing I liked about my body at the time, so it was very tramatic for me. I questioned my doctor about getting a different medication and her response was that the medicine helped with my migraines so I should just change my hair style. Change to what? Bald? No thanks.

I never went back to her. I found another doctor who prescribed me a different medication that also worked for my migraines but didn't make my hair fall out. I'm happy to say that it has since grown back, nice and thick as always!

Wow...You'd think with it being 2008 that doctors would have improved their manners. What an idiot.

I am so glad you're back on the air.
