I often talk to frogs and toads, but not to bugs. My family has gotten used to it. Glad someone else does it too!!

Thank you for such a great podcast. I found it via a link on another blog (I don't remeber which) and I immediatly downloaded the archived episodes. I have this thing where I have to listen from day one or I get all confused. We have so many things in common - a love of stories, dyslexia (mine is numbers), and talking with the creatures. I am sad that I have now listened to all the podcasts and wait anxiously for the next. Keep it up!

I'm not a big fan of bugs (except spiders because they eat other bugs) but I don't usually bother them...except ants; I hate ants...hate, hate, hate ants.

please tell me that's not the true size of the spider you are talking about. I run from any one I see that's bigger than a quarter. Too busy running to talk to them.

Grasshopper story...what a trip that one was. That guy was way too comfortable, thinking you'd give him a ride back home. very entertaining.

ROFL on the cricket. You're almost Cinderella the way they're all responding to you.

I'm back to listening (new computer) and walking (orthodics). Looking forward to catching up on some of the past shows.
I used to encourage spiders in the barn because I hated the flies! No one was allowed to touch or harm them. They worked hard for me.

I loved your stories. How kind you are to the animals (even bugs) in your world! I talk to animals, too -- at great length. My partner thinks I'm nuts, too! Thank you for your wonderful stories.

Hi Carry, thanks for your bug stories...they were great. I love the grasshopper one...that's too cute that he waited for a drive home!

I think a bad joke episode would be funny! I love jokes good or bad!

You are a great story teller and I eagerly await each week to here what you have to tell us!
