KnitWit 125: Alpacas

Filed under: podcast — Autumn Breeze at 7:34 pm on Sunday, June 22, 2008

This week is a follow up on the llama episode (121).

I talk about preparing and spinning alpaca.  Alpaca is slightly finer than llama but the process is the same.

I end with my interpretation of a myth.

I hope you enjoy.

Carry, that was a great story/myth it gave me goose bumps! I never heard that before about the unicorns but it so interesting. There is a small Alpaca farm near me and I am going to see if she has the wool ready for sale yet. After that story I think I will have to ask if I can visit the Alpaca as well so I can look into their eyes!!

Thanks Carry,

Love, love, love the myth! I’ll be sending a link to this podcast to my Mom, as she’s a lover of unicorns.
