KnitWit 132: Why I joined a Cult Part 2

Filed under: podcast — Autumn Breeze at 8:48 pm on Sunday, August 10, 2008

I continue the story I started last week.  Don’t really want to say much and give the story away.

Please, let me know what you think.  Was I a complete idiot?

Carry,

I absolutely don’t think you were an idiot! How wonderful to be treated like a person who matters. I can’t wait to hear the next installment.

Hi there Carry,
I soo like when you talk about what happened to you when you were younger. I think it is rather usual that young people test different churches/communities when they are teenagers. I also joined a church when I was about 13 but left it when I was about 16.

Geee, community who accepts you like you are versus a family who laughs at you or ignores you? Which would anyone choose?
