This is the version of the nursery rhyme I worked from.

<blockquote cite="">
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go

It followed her to school one day
Which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play,
To see a lamb at school

And so the teacher turned it out,
But still it lingered near
And waited patiently about,
Till Mary did appear

"Why does the lamb love Mary so?"
The eager children cry
"Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know."
The teacher did reply
</blockquote>

Hi Carry,

since I'm not familiar with that story I like it a lot. I always like your stories so you're always make me glad with your podcasts. I was doing a puzzle on the table while listening to the podcast and think it's funny. So would love to hear more.

Hope you've a nice day. Take care.

What a great retelling. Funny what you said about white lambs. I live in the UK, and every spring my hubby and I go to Wales to visit my sis-n-law. My favorite thing to do is black sheep spotting. Because of the different breeds they have here, there are always a few black lambs in the fields. It is so lovely. Where I'm from in the US, we didn't have sheep...so that is fun in the first place. But to see the little lovely black lambs hopping around the field is just magical!
