KnitWit 159: Friday

I have had this week’s show planned for months.  You know what they say about best laid plans…

Instead of doing the planned story, I am going to tell you about my Friday.

I learned about an organization, Piedmont Wildlife Center, that I think rocks.  I encourage you to find and support any similar organization that exists in your area.

This story is still unfolding.  As I learn more I will post updates on the website and in rav.

My heart goes out to you and the poor little turtle. I’m so glad you went back to check on him and I hope he pulls through!

Good for you for rescuing Turtle Friday. I hope that Piedmont Wildlife Center can take care of him and make him a good home.

You know, that you went back at all is more than what almost anyone else would do — don’t feel bad about hesitating to go back or thinking he was dead at first. Regardless of what happened of happens, you have spared that turtle an unimaginable amount of pain and suffering.

I’m sending warm thoughts to the turtle and to you.
